LUNCHLY

Are KSI & Logan Paul pulling off the scam of the century?

Ksi, Logan Paul & Mr. Beast all share many things in common. But they also share as many things NOT in common.

From Modern Warfare, Vlogging and Minecraft to music videos and squid games.

Three worlds you’d usually never expect to collide, but as of now they hold such a strong dominion over the internet that it was inevitable.

The three of them have recently teamed up to create their own spin off version of Lunchables and they named it… Lunchly!

(Yes, very creative indeed)

The reason this partnership made sense was firstly their humongous following of a combined 350 million (on main channels alone) although this is 99% thanks to Jimmy.

And secondly, because of how they designed Lunchly.

Each Lunchly kit comes with a bottle of prime, a feastables bar and then the meal itself.

This came with it’s fair share of backlash, especially due to the added controversy from Logan Paul’s crypto antics and Mr. Beast’s Chris situation.

Ksi… I don’t really know what he’s done wrong except that new song of his.

But the question I’m covering today is -

Are Ksi & Logan Paul (+ Mr. Beast) scamming little children?

Fact or Fiction: Entrepreneur edition #1

So the basis of this accusation lies in the product itself. Is it actually good for the kids. Or will it result in the fat kids getting fatter.

First off, it’s already been widely disputed that Prime falls short of its counterparts like Gatorade, and secondly when did the average kid start requiring sports drinks???

Here’s a video if you’d like to go check it out - also worth noting that the video has been unlisted, my assumption is that Logang and his army of lawyers weren’t too pleased with the accusations.

On the other hand, Feastables is expected to not exactly be great for you considering it’s a chocolate bar. But on that note, many reviews suggest it’s still just plain old, mediocre.

So now onto the main course.

Let’s start off with a comparison between the new and the old.

Not long ago, Consumer Reports ran an article talking about the less than ideal standard of nutrition that Lunchables were meeting.

To sum it up, Lunchables contains an excessive level of sodium and saturated fat content alongside some of their samples containing lead (???)

Now onto the new guard -

On paper, sure it looks great. Less calories and a ton more electrolytes in the meal (why? I don’t know…)

The decrease in sugar is likely from swapping out the Lunchables capri-sun for Lunchly’s bottle of prime, and sure this is all well and good but the difference is marginal.

And in all honesty, it’s not even worth taking note of. Well at least they’re not including a free helping of lead into their meal (well not yet at least)

The biggest point to keep in mind here would be that that both Lunchables and Lunchly fall short of the USDA standards for school lunches.

Meaning that they’re not even in the realm of coming close towards being labelled healthy or nutritional. It’s especially disappointing to see when taking into account the influence and resources of the people putting the kits together.

But… at the end of the day, the verdict is - it’s not really a scam. If anything they at least raised the health level by a singular inch.

My only hope is that parents weren’t sending their kids off to school with a box of Lunchables or Lunchlys in the first place. Give them a sandwich filled with literally anything else instead. For their sake.
